Within the program Education for sustainable development in Western Balkan, Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) organized two day training for representatives of 25 local authorities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia.

The 4th training within the programme component related to strenghtening capacities and providing support to local authorities was held on Zlatibor (Serbia), from 7th to 9th of December. This training was designed with the aim to help representatives of local authorities to better understand the process of monitoring and evaluation of strategic documents, with the focus on following topics: methods of measuring local government performance, structures of reports on strategic plans implementation process and structuring indicators in strategic plans.

The project “Education for Sustainable Development in Western Balkan”, under which these training programs are organized, is implemented by Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), with financial support probided by Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
